[CANCELLED] EPBF European Championship 2020

Due to the second wave of increased cases of Covid-19 in Spain, most sporting events in Gandia are getting cancelled for October and November 2020.

The EPBF is working closely with the heads of Health of the Valencian Community and was advised against holding the event in October.

Sporting event regulations in Spain are also now limiting events to only 300 people which makes it impossible to host the EPBF Championship during this time.

The safety of our players and staff are very important to us and therefore due to the second wave as well as restrictions imposed on events in Spain we decided to cancel the current EPBF Championship that was scheduled for 8-11 October 2020.

Updated information about the future Events in 2021 will be announced as soon as confirmed.

Please note the following relating to U16 / U19 and Veterans: In line with international events world wide in most sporting codes the EPBF/UPBF will also extend the DOB for 2021 accordingly which will remain the same as for 2020.

To be eligible country teams with players that would have played this year and would not have been eligible in 2021 should provide us with the names of those players to be considered for the extension.
