UPBF Invitation and Rulebook Changes

The UPBF Paintball World Championship 2023 will take place this year on 30 & 31 August 2023 for Veterans, Mens, Womens and U19. The U16 category 3-man will now take place on Sunday 3 September 2023.

Please note the following important changes and information:

1. Game play will start this year on Wednesday 30 August 2023, with registration opening early morning of 30 August 2023. This is to avoid any conflicting games during the NXL European event and reduce the pressure on referees that have to work extremely long hours.
2. Additional prelim games as well as play-offs will be played on Thursday 31 August 2023.
3. There will be a live broadcast on the main field and we will do our best to give all teams from all categories a opportunity to play on the main field, depending on the schedule and number of teams competing.
4. All categories (Veterans, Mens, Womens, U19 and U16) will play with .68 cal electronic markers set to 10.5bps.
5. U16 will now be played on Sunday 3 Sep 2023 and will include prelims and play-offs.
6. The format for U16 is the same as for the other categories this year, except that it will remain 3-man and the game time will be 6 minutes. Marker setup will be the same as other categories, loader + 2 pods (M500). Game format will be race-to-4 with 6 min game time.
7. Roster sizes for U16 was adjusted to max 6 players and max 4 staff on a game roster.

9. Accommodation is limited this year in Dreux, France. Please make your bookings as soon as possible.
